Fluorosilicone oil, alternatively named fluorosilicone fluid or fluorinated silicone oil, is a chemically inert substance presented as a colorless or pale yellow transparent liquid. The material possesses remarkable resistance against oils, organic solvents and corrosive chemicals, alongside excellent lubricating, demolding, defoaming and anti-fouling capabilities, as well as strong water and oil repellency.
It is widely utilized for the lubrication of high-speed bearings and mechanical parts such as valves, gears, gaskets and pumps operating in chemical media. Formulations based on this fluid are effective defoamers for multiple foaming systems, notably solvent-based detergents. Furthermore, it is commonly adopted as a water/oil repellent and anti-fouling finishing agent for fabrics, and a functional modifier for coatings and plastics..

Fluorosilicone oil is widely applied as the base fluid of fluorosilicone grease after compounding with thickeners, stabilizers and modified additives. When adopted for grease production, it delivers a substantial improvement in steel-on-steel boundary lubrication.
Traditional mineral lubricants exhibit an increasing friction coefficient under elevated load and a sharp viscosity reduction at high temperatures, resulting in impaired lubrication performance and fluid loss. Fluorosilicone oil, however, possesses excellent viscosity-temperature characteristics. It is applicable either as a standalone fluid or in blends with dimethyl silicone oil and methyl phenyl silicone oil. Under heavy load conditions, its lubricating capability surpasses that of chlorophenyl silicone oil and mineral oil greases.
The resultant fluorosilicone grease has an operating temperature range of -70 ℃ to 252 ℃. It is engineered for lubrication of high-speed, heavy-duty bearings operating in chemical atmospheres, and for lubrication & sealing of valves exposed to corrosive substances. It can also be manufactured into high-vacuum grease for components contacting benzene-based solvents.

Fluorosilicone Oil TPD-FS8012 is typically used as a lubricating oil in vacuumpumps handling reactive gases.

Featuring lower surface tension than conventional silicone oils, long-chain perfluoroalkyl silicone oil stands out in particular. Defoamers formulated from fluoroalkyl silicone oil excel at reducing surface tension across various foaming systems and deliver superior performance compared to regular silicone-based defoamers. This type of fluorosilicone defoamer is widely applied in petroleum, textile, synthetic rubber and resin, coating and ink, food processing, fermentation and pharmaceutical industries.

Fluorosilicone oil is also formulated into high-performance release agents. These products feature excellent anti-stick and lubricating properties, alongside non-corrosiveness, non-toxicity and high safety. They are widely applied in molding, casting, packaging and coating processes. In addition, fluorosilicone oil-based emulsions and solvent-free formulations serve as high-efficiency paper release agents with distinctive advantages.

Fluorosilicone oil can be formulated into textile finishing agents. Fabrics treated with this product gain excellent water and oil repellency, anti-fouling and antistatic properties, and are easier to clean compared with regular textiles. Meanwhile, the fabrics retain a soft, pleasant hand feel.
