Z-type PFPE (Perfluoropolyether) Oil Z-250 is a linear perfluoropolyether with a purely straight-chain structure. It only consists of three elements: carbon, fluorine and oxygen, and contains no hydrogen, delivering outstanding chemical stability. The product is colorless and transparent, featuring wide-temperature compatibility, excellent radiation resistance, ultra-low vapor pressure and superior chemical inertness. It serves as a high-end fluorinated base oil specially formulated for high-performance special working conditions. .
Features
- Excellent radiation resistance
Among the four major types of PFPE (Z/Y/K/D), the Z-type boasts the best radiation resistance, making it the top choice for nuclear industry and aerospace radiation exposure environments.
- Excellent viscosity-temperature property (high viscosity index)
Its straight-chain structure delivers great molecular flexibility with minimal viscosity variation against temperature changes. It features outstanding low-temperature fluidity and remains flowable at temperatures as low as around -90°C.
- Superior thermal and oxidative stability
Long-term service temperature limit is approximately 290°C under oxygen-free conditions and around 260°C in aerobic environments; its thermal decomposition temperature ranges from 350°C to 410°C.
- Extremely high chemical inertness
Long-term service temperature limit is approximately 290°C under oxygen-free conditions and around 260°C in aerobic environments; its thermal decomposition temperature ranges from 350°C to 410°C.
- Ultra-low vapor pressure
It delivers outstanding vacuum performance and is suitable for high-vacuum systems.
- Good material compatibility
Compatible with most metals, PTFE, fluoroelastomers and the majority of engineering plastics.
