Description
FEP Resin TPD-816 is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene. It has good thermal stability, outstanding chemical inertness, excellent electrical insulation and low friction coefficient. It can be processed by thermoplastic processing method. TPD-816 is a kind of resins with low molecular weight and high melt index. Its extrusion temperature is low and the extrusion speed is 5-8 times of that of ordinary FEP, and it is soft and has good toughness.

Applications
TPD-816 is mainly used in aviation, aerospace industry, metro transportation vehicles, automatic switching equipment, oil well testing equipment, flame alarm system, high-rise buildings, wires and cables in the near fire area, computers, communication networks, electrical and other fields, especially suitable for high-speed extrusion of small-caliber wire insulation materials. It is more ecnomical when used in the applications where no high stress cracking resistance is required.
